Meet the Trainer
Jarvis Omersa
Jarvis Omersa is a former Golden Gopher and current coach at Rosemount High School. Born and raised in Orono, Minnesota, Omersa attended Orono High School, where he excelled in both basketball and football. In basketball, he earned all-conference and all-state honors each year, averaging 18.4 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 2.1 steals per game during his senior season. In 2018, Omersa joined the University of Minnesota’s men’s basketball team, the Golden Gophers. Over his three seasons with the team, he appeared in 64 games, averaging 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
