Hope Fieldhouse Pickleball League Rules
A pickleball league is a group of players who meet to compete for a predetermined time period, 17 minutes. At Hope Fieldhouse, each league session lasts approximately eight weeks. Pickleball leagues are organized in a round robin format. Games are played with the same partner and against a different pair of opponents each week. Please be aware this is not a Ladder league.
All matches will be timed. Play for 17 minutes and rest for 5 minutes. A total of 4 matches will be played each session. So matches can go well beyond or short of 11 points. The winner will be the team with the highest point total at the end of regulation. If it should be a tie at regulation, the match will continue until the next team scores. So, there is no winning by two points in this league.
The home team will have the serve first. This will be the team on the top. Teams will track scores and turn them in at the end of the night. Hope Fieldhouse Staff will enter scores into Playpass.
Post League: A tournament will be held to celebrate the End of League Season. This will be a doubles tournament which includes all league players from Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed. The doubles teams will be made up of all the individual players that sign up for the tournament. Medals will also be given out to the first and second place teams in each league.
Each participant will be responsible for finding a sub if they are not able to attend. Hope Fieldhouse will not be responsible for finding a substitute.
